XMT range
The XMT line features unique, high-end surgical lighting systems, offering innovative LED surgical lights designed for demanding operating rooms and precision surgical procedures.

Discover our extra-wide field surgical lights
Our XMT surgical lights combine advanced LED technology with ergonomic design, meeting all the hygiene requirements of a modern operating room. Thanks to the exclusive FOCUSMATIC patent, the diameter of the light field can be adjusted without any loss of intensity—
, providing uniform central illumination even for very large surgical fields.
These surgical lights ensure maximum visibility, surgeon comfort, and patient safety during all surgical procedures.

Key Features of the XMT Series
High C.R.I
XMT lighting provides an exceptional Color Rendering Index (Ra 99, R9 99).
- R9: Red – essential for visualizing blood vessels
- R13 & R15: White and Asian skin tones – ideal for dermatological applications
Thanks to this accurate color rendering, surgeons benefit from a precise reproduction of colors in the surgical field, similar to natural light.
Optimized shadow blending
Each LED module operates independently, creating a seamless overlap of light spots. Even if multiple people are within the illuminated area, no shadows appear, ensuring optimal conditions for surgery.
That is why Surgiris designed the XMT lighting systems to the optics of each module independent. Each petal emits a light spot that overlays the surgical field. As a result, even if one or more caregivers’ heads are within the light field, no shadow appears around the perimeter of the spot.
No mechanical movement
The FOCUSMATIC patent allows the diameter of the light field to be adjusted electronically, without any moving mechanical parts.
- Advanced electronic LED control
- Customized optics for each LED
- Maximum reliability and zero mechanical failures
This technology provides peace of mind for biomedical engineers and ensures that the lighting is always operational.
Low laminar flow disturbances
In accordance with DIN 1946-4, the XMT design limits disruptions to laminar flow to 28–29%, well below the recommended limit of 37.5%. This helps maintain sterile air in the operating room and reduces the risk of infection.

“The surgical lights in Surgiris’ XMT series feature electronic focusing, which gives my entire team peace of mind and ensures that the lights are always operational. The lights are always working, never fail, and prevent us from having to close the operating rooms.
I also want to highlight the support and responsiveness of the sales team, which gives me great peace of mind.”
